言土茯苓皆谓其"治杨梅毒疮",然近代名家提出土茯苓为治头痛之要药.本文通过土茯苓的中医药性记载、古今医家们重剂土茯苓治疗头痛的临床应用、现代药物学研究及头痛的病因病机,对其进行探讨,验证了重用土茯苓疗湿热头痛的有效性.临证时,凡遇湿热所致之头痛,重剂用之,可获良效.
