云南龙陵杨梅田铁铜矿体呈不规则的层状、透镜体、脉状产于寒武系上统沙河厂组大理岩化灰岩、泥质灰岩与隐伏岩体接触交代形成的矽卡岩中.矿床成因为矽卡岩型铁铜矿床,层间构造及硅化、黄铁矿化、矽卡岩化、大理岩化等矿化蚀变是重要的找矿标志.
