Abstract

We developed and validated a dynamic model to predict sexual function recovery before and after radical prostatectomy (RP). This tool has the potential to transform shared decision-making by incorporating preferences and has utility in the survivorship period. Realistic expectations before and after surgery give patients a better understanding of their individual recovery after RP and may reduce decision regret.
