Fast Imaging Method based on Partitioned Phase Compensation for near-field MIMO array

A fast imaging method based on partitioned phase compensation for near MIMO array is proposed. Several two-dimensional (2D) MIMO arrays which work at 75GHz are introduced for testing the method. When using the proposed method, it is shown that the imaging quality and reconstruction speed of the 2D-MIMO arrays are close to that of the 2D-SISO arrays, but the number of antennas required can be greatly reduced. Besides, compared with the previous fast imaging method based on phase compensation, the proposed method has better imaging performance and can focus the whole imaging region. The test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed fast imaging method.
