摘要
The altered activity and neurotransmission of the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC), a key node of the default-mode network, has been associated with the presence of somatic symptom disorder (SSD), a highly prevalent neuropsychiatric disorders in Parkinson's disease (PD). We investigated whether, in SSD patients, the altered activity of the mPFC promotes a functional reconfiguration across brain networks and whether these changes are specific hallmarks of the presence of SSD in PD.
