Vibration Simulation and Fatigue Experiment on the Circulating Pipeline of Generator Motor Stator Evaporative Cooling System

Evaporative cooling is an efficient and safe cooling method, which has been successfully applied in large conventional hydropower units. In this paper, vibration simulation analysis and fatigue experimental research on the circulating pipeline of stator evaporative cooling system of generator motor were carried out with reference to the measured data and relevant standards. The results showed that the circulating pipeline could withstand the examination of limit vibration condition of generator motor. The research results of this paper will serve as the basis for design and installation of evaporative cooling pumped storage units.
