摘要
On-chip vascular bed (VB) system, which enables a three-dimensional tissue to be cultured on a perfusable vasculature, is useful to overcome the current limitation of a kidney organoid (KO): the lack of functional vasculature. However, there are two main hurdles to apply VB system to a KO culture. One is an air-liquid interface that is necessary for in vitro culture of KOs. The other is the optimum medium condition for organoid development. In this study, we proposed a modified VB system to satisfy these two requirements. We confirmed that our VB system preserved KO differentiation.
