Abstract
A 0.14THz symmetric double V-shaped microstrip meander-line sheet beam TWT is designed. By setting up the particle monitors, the beam interception is observed when the steady beam-wave interaction processes occur. As the uniform focusing magnetic field is reduced from operation value to a half, the rising beam interception ratios from 0% to 3% are obtained. According to the simulation results, the interceptions are always concentrated on the last several periods of the SWS. The thermal analysis for this TWT will be carried out according these results.
