Millimeter-Wave SAR for Concealed Item Holographic Imaging

摘要
In this paper, an active millimeter-wave (mmWave) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging system is utilized to achieve high-resolution holographic image of concealed objects at different distances. To realize a synthetic aperture over the target scene, the system consists of a two-dimensional fully controllable translational platform which can scan in horizontal and vertical directions respectively. For holography reconstruction of concealed objects, the frequency-modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar with 4GHz bandwidth is employed, meanwhile, the wavenumber- domain 3-D holographic imaging algorithm based on the system is investigated. The experimental results confirm that our system and algorithm are valid.
