Abstract
•Amine-grafted TiO2 nanowires@GO nanocomposites are prepared by facile route.•Owing to surface modification, TiO2 NW-NH2/GO/Ag exhibit very good dye loading.•TiO2 NW-NH2/GO/Ag photoanode show high power conversion efficiency.•Amine/GO functionalization synergetically curtails charge reunion.•AgNPs act as plasmonic absorber and electron sink, giving DSSC efficiency of 8.76%.
