Abstract
•Novel (NGI) nanocomposites were synthesized by reflux-polycondensation method.•High photo degradation efficiency for MB dye and industrial sewage waste was achieved by NGI-2 nanocomposite than Ngcn and InS.•2D/2D interaction, high surface area and synergetic effect of both material was accountable to improve the photocatalytic activity of samples.
