Abstract
Introduction: Neuraxial analgesia is considered the gold standard of labour analgesia. In our institution most women receive neuraxial analgesia during labour, but concerns have been raised regarding its impact on the delivery process. According to some studies, epidural analgesia increases the length of labour and the risk of operative delivery (caesarean or instrumental).
