摘要
The use of a rationally designed catalyst material is essential for the improvement of electrode reactions in lithium-oxygen (Li-O-2) batteries. In this study, we propose a synthesis strategy of multi-shelled LaNi0.5Co0.5O3 yolk-shell microspheres (Y-LNCO) via one-step spray pyrolysis. The outer shells and inner core are produced by repetitive combustion and contraction of carbon-metal salt composite. The internal void between the core and the shell of Y-LNCO microspheres serves plenty of space for Li2O2 discharge product during the discharge process. The Li-O-2 battery fabricated with Y-LNCO exhibits a high capacity of 22,560 mA h g(-1) at a current density of 200 mA g(-1), low overpotential of 0.57 V, and long cycle stability (150 cycles at a current density of 200 mA g(-1) with a limited capacity of 500 mA h g(-1)).
