Development and status of high-voltage power supply and integrated control system for KSTAR ECH system

•Upgrade of ECH HVPS (high voltage power supply) system for more stable and efficient long pulse operation in KSTAR•Development of an ECICS (Electron cyclotron integrated control system) applied new functions and structures for safe and stable EC system operation•Successful experimentation of upgraded EC system in 2020 KSTAR campaign•Successfully maintained H-mode plasma during over 70 seconds at 100 million degrees using the new EC system.•Due to the successful experimental results, the HVPS and ECICS systems are planned to be applied to all six EC systems.
