摘要

A 1,1,4,4‐tetracyanobutadiene spirobifluorene (TCBD‐SBF) was synthetized for the first time. Combination of experimental chiroptical responses and theoretical simulations enabled conformational and configurational assignment. Remarkably, the predicted first hyperpolarizability pointed out the strong influence of the geometry in the present system toward non‐linear optical effects.
