Petrographic and mineral chemistry evidence for the origin of sulfide mineralization in the Main Sulfide Zone, Sebakwe Subchamber of the Great Dike, Zimbabwe

•The Platinum-group element mineralized zone displays textures consistent with both primary magmatic and secondary mineralizing episodes.•Sulfides occurring with biotite and along veinlets suggest subsolidus PGE mineralization.•Pyroxene and biotite thermometry results are consistent with both magmatic & subsolidus episodes.
