PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER EDUCATION: THE POSTGRADUATE EXPERIENCE IN COLOMBIA

This article discusses the postgraduate system of Physical Education in Colombia. It reveals the "first steps" towards the emergence of this level of education in the context of the scientific transformation of this subject. Subsequently, it describes some characteristics of the postgraduate system in the country, to analyze its particularities in the field of Physical Education. The article concludes with questions about the development of that system and its impact in the Physical Education teacher education.
