Impact of driving style and traffic condition on emissions and fuel consumption during real-world transient operation

•Driving style has a significant impact on emissions than traffic conditions.•Aggressive cycles increased CO emissions up to 88%, PM up to 112% and PN up to 538%.•Biodiesel reduced PM emissions up to 71% and PN up to 68%.•Higher fuel consumption for peak hour cycles for different driving styles.
