EVALUATION OF THE POTENTIAL FOR USE IN AGRICULTURE OF THE SOIL RESULTING FROM UNCLOGGING PROCESS FOR TWO VEGETABLES WITH GREAT ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE: BEANS AND TOMATOS

This study aims to analyze the sediment properties of the Bacau Leisure Lake as a nutritional potential for two species of vegetables: beans and tomatos (Solanum lycopersicum and Phaseolus vulgaris). For this purpose, materials resulted from the unclogging were analyzed. Soil phosphorus, potassium and salt content were analyzed, as well as the potential pollution with four heavy metals (Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn) and organochlorinated products (HCH), herbicide (DDT) and total petroleum products (THP). As a result of the analyzes carried out, it was found that the soil taken for analyzes did not show any toxicity exceeding, according to the rules in force regarding heavy metals, HCH and DDT. Furthermore, promising values for soil nutrients have been recorded. The two species of vegetables, beans and tomatoes, were planted in the soil under study in combination with cattle manure, chicken manure and sand in various proportions. Following the statistical interpretation of the data, it was found that the most productive combinations are those that include soil and cattle manure, chicken manure along with sand.
