Abstract

Purpose: Degenerative meniscus lesions have been associated with both OA etiology and its progression. Thus, the aim was to establish a human meniscus in vitro model to explore the meniscal response to cytokine treatment to mimic early stages of meniscus degradation using a proteomics approach.
