Abstract
•Amorphous ZrO2 conformally grown with zeolite were prepared by liquid phase method.•The zeolite@a-ZrO2 catalyst shows outstanding degradation efficiency towards RhB dye.•Remarkable stability and reusability for fifth catalytic cycles.•Low carrier recombination is responsible for the enhancing photocatalytic performance.
