摘要
Two field experiments were conducted to evaluate the performance of faba bean varieties (Giza 843, Sakha 4, Nubaria 1) particularly, growth stages, yield and yield components under potassium fertilization and amino acids foliar application (Control (distilled water). K (as a foliar), K (Soil application), Amino acids, K (as a foliar) + Amino acids. K (soil application) +Amino acids). The results showed that all characters of faba bean such as plant height, total Chl. content, yield and yield components were significantly increased by application of K as foliar Amino acids treatment compared with control in both seasons respectively, except the traits of straw yield (Kg fed(-1)) and No. of seeds plant(-1). The varieties were significantly differed at all studied traits where, Giza 843 was superior at biological yield. seed yield, straw yield, No. of branches plant(-1), No. of pods plant(-1). No, of seed plant(-1), weight of pods plant(-1), weight of seeds plant(-1) and weight of 100 seeds (g). while, Nubaria 1 recorded the highest value of plant height (cm) and total Ch I. content with significant differences. Generally, the results showed that the interaction between potassium fertilization and amino acids as foliar application and faba bean varieties recorded significant differences in yield and yield components in both seasons, It can be concluded that application of K as foliar along with Amino acids treatment could he recommended for the highest grain yield of Giza 843 under delta conditions
