Qinghai Forest Park is a large state-owned forest area in China. Due to frequent thunder and lightning weather, lightning strikes are prone to occur in this area, triggering large-scale forest fires, and causing great economic losses and ecological disasters to the country. In order to solve the problem of lightning damage that has plagued the area for a long time, and reduce the losses caused by lightning and lightning strikes, it is necessary to build an effective lightning protection and fire prevention system. This article designs a lightning monitoring and positioning system for Qinghai Forest Park. The system has the function of lightning monitoring and positioning which can provide information for lightning protection in forest areas. In addition, this article analyzes the lightning disaster in Qinghai Forest Park and provides a reference for protection work.
