A simulation model for the pelvic organ prolapse quantification system (POP-Q)

The objective of this video is to demonstrate the build and use of a novel low-cost simulation model for the POP-Q system. In this video we show how to construct a low-cost simulation model using primarily a sock and plastic bottle on a previously demonstrated vaginal hysterectomy task trainer. We then show how to use the model to facilitate learning the POP-Q system. This is a novel, easy to make, and low-cost simulation model for the POP-Q system that could be a beneficial tool for trainees at all levels.
