Ce/Cr and Ce/Co modified ferrite catalysts for high temperature water-gas shift reaction at elevated pressures

摘要
•Doped/co-doped iron ferrites were tested for HT-WGS at high pressure conditions.•Incorporated Cr or Co decreased the sintering and coke formation during WGS.•Cr or Co ion were entered into the octahedral sites of spinel framework.•Cr- or Co-codoping resulted in the reduced surface Fe3+/Fe2+ ratio of the ferries.•No obvious surface structural changes occurred for the ternary ferrites after WGS.
