Abstract
•Blughah and Al-Maham granitoids are mainly I-type (675–651 Ma) and less common A-type (631 M) granites.•Gold-sulfide mineralization occurs at the intersection between volcano-sedimentary rocks and granitic intrusions.•Arsenopyrite, pyrite, and pyrrhotite are the main ore minerals in the two prospects.•Gold inclusions within deformed pyrite and arsenopyrite implies a post-sulfide gold formation.•Re-Os age of sulfides (360 ± 2 Ma) refers to the remobilization and recrystallization age.
