Process design and microstructure-property evolution during shear spinning of Ti2AlNb-based alloy

摘要
•The conical Ti2AlNb workpiece was successfully formed by two passes shear spinning with inter-pass heat treatment.•An essential inter-pass heat treatment scheme (960 °C/2 h + 850 °C/12 h) for increasing the spinnability of multi-pass spinning was given out.•An optimal post-spinning heat treatment scheme (960 °C/2 h) was achieved to improve both the room-temperature and high-temperature mechanical properties for service requirement.
