摘要

•Study of the effect of CO2 curing and slag on cement paste’s self-cleaning activity.•It was observed a synergistic effect of slag and CO2 curing in terms of self-cleaning.•The lower porosity of slag samples reduces the CO2 diffusion.•CO2 curing may produce more localized porosity reduction on the slag samples’ surface.•Combining slag & CO2 curing enable to make photocatalytic material with less nanoTiO2.
