摘要
Neuroblastoma is a malignant pediatric tumor that originates from the sympathetic nervous system. Some tumors, especially in patients older than 18 months, show aggressive and metastatic properties. This is a report of a 20-month-old boy diagnosed with metastatic neuroblastoma that initially presented as a tumor in the oral cavity. Despite multidisciplinary treatment, the patient expired due to treatment-related toxicity. This case shows the importance of understanding metastatic tumors in the head and neck region of infants and children to ensure early diagnosis and treatment.
