•PDCPD composites were prepared by FROMP strategy with simple and rapid process.•Tg of PDCPD/BTNA composites was higher than that of PDCPD/BTOH.•PDCPD/BTNA exhibited higher dielectric constant and low loss tangent than PDCPD/BTOH.
