Wireless Sensor Network Based Distribution and Prediction of Water Consumption in Residential Houses Using ANN

Over the past few decades the amount of water used in the urban areas of various states in India has raised serious concerns. The average amount of water in the aquifers in the country has started to decrease with higher personal water consumption. The water crisis in the urban area needs the attention of the researchers to find efficient ways to overcome the problem of water distribution. The proposed model of prediction is developed by using ANN (Artificial Neural Network) for large communities of different types. Wireless Sensor Network-based monitoring and data collection scheme of water consumption are used in the proposed model for communities of different types such as household-1 with three members, household-2 with four members, and household-3 with eight members. The model provides the concept of a water flow control sensor in different applications such as showers to reduce water loss. The system enables the distributors to distribute optimally to communities. The water crisis in residential areas can solve by this model.
