摘要
•Presents significance of thermal and kinetic impacts of the waves on the droplet and diagnosed the threshold input power where thermal impact starts dominating.•Offers a comprehensive analysis of the thermal impact of the waves and provides a clear understanding of the temperature distribution inside the droplet.•Provides detailed analysis of the coupling mechanism between streaming and heating of the droplet which leads to calculating heat radiation, heat transfer from substrate to the droplet and heat transfer from droplet to the air.
