Strategy and problems in the preparation of samples contaminated with substances covered by the Chemical Weapons Convention

The general scheme of procedures in the prepn. of samples for anal. contaminated with substances covered by the Chemical Weapons Convention was presented and the main problems related to the matrix interactions with analytes were discussed. The anal. of the sample was discussed on the basis of the sample in the water matrix. Sample matrices and analytes used in selected proficiency tests of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) were presented.
