Biophysical indicators and Indigenous and Local Knowledge reveal climatic and ecological shifts with implications for Arctic Char fisheries

•Through a transdisciplinary lens, we brought together different knowledges.•We detected important shifts in the marine environment and Arctic Char.•These include earlier ice breakup and a changing diet and quality in Arctic Char.•Shifts have deeper social-ecological implications for coastal communities.•Ways forward include community-collaborative monitoring and management.
