Abstract
Solar energy has been widely used as a sustainable resource. However, the solar PV power generation system placed outside will be affected by sandstorm settlement, thus reducing the output performance of low solar cells and reducing service life. This study has set up an outdoor test system for This study have set up an outdoor test system for solar cells.By controlling the dust density of surface area of the solar cells, the I-U curves of three types of solar cells were measured. Further calculations show that the performance parameters of the three types of solar cells vary with the density of the surface dust. The influence of monocrystalline silicon cells is the smallest, and amorphous silicon cells has the greatest impact. From the output curve of volt-ampere characteristics, it is known that when the dust density of surface is about 5g/m2, the influence about output performance of the three types of solar cells is most significant. Therefore, it is recommended to clean in time to ensure the performance of solar cells.
