Abstract
In this paper, transparent conducting oxide (TCO)/silver(Ag)/TCO nanodisk arrays on Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) substrate have been modelled and compared with silver nanodisk arrays as benchmark. The radii of the proposed geometry is tuned for near infrared reflection applications between 750–1500 nm. Reduction in thicknesses of transparent conducting layers reduce dips in the transmittance spectra that is attributed to reduction of normalised absorbed optical power due to the transparent conducting layers. The TCO/Ag/TCO geometry is optimized for high transmittance of upto 95% in the visible range (400–700 nm).
