2021 Awards for outstanding contributions to veterinary anesthesiology

It is our great pleasure to announce that two of our distinguished colleagues received awards for their contributions to veterinary anesthesiology from the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA) at the September 2021 Annual Business Meeting. Professor Wayne N McDonell was presented the ACVAA 2021 Career Achievement Award for his long career of outstanding performance in advancing the art and science of veterinary anesthesia and/or analgesia. Professor William ‘Bill’ J Tranquilli was presented the President’s Award for Meritorious Service to the ACVAA in advancement of veterinary anesthesia and analgesia through leadership, service and outreach.
