2021 7th International Conference on Hydraulic and Civil Engineering & Smart Water Conservancy and Intelligent Disaster Reduction Forum (ICHCE & SWIDR)(2021)
Abstract
The residual stress of cold-formed section steel with strength of G420, G460 and G690 was tested after passing 10mm and 6mm; According to the rapid development of measurement economy and the continuous progress of engineering technology, steel structure buildings continue to emerge, and cold-formed steel has been widely used in these buildings and shows good mechanical properties. This paper mainly studies the distribution of residual stress in cold-formed steel. Firstly, the existing residual stress measurement methods are introduced and compared, Finally, the cutting method is used as the residual stress test method in this experiment; The average residual stress and bending residual stress distribution curve of cold-formed section steel are obtained by selecting the data with thickness of 1. Finally, combined with the theoretical analysis of the generation of cold-formed section steel residual stress, the distribution characteristics of cold-formed section steel residual stress, average residual stress and bending residual stress are summarized, and a simple distribution model is proposed. The research results will provide important basic data for the in-depth study of the design method of the cold-formed steel members.
