Translation of a customised blood sequencing panel to the reference laboratory

Immunohaematology reference laboratories use serological methods to type red cell, platelet and neutrophil antigens. Increasingly, genomic technologies are employed to resolve complex cases. Here we report on the translation of a blood gene sequencing panel to clinical practice in the red cell reference laboratory.
