Abstract
•Ground Measurement Campaign with an A320 jet engine and five different jet fuels.•Sustainable aviation jet fuels showed up to 70% reduction in particle mass emission compared to a fossil fuel.•Similar soot tendencies were observed for a SAF and a fossil fuel with similar fuel hydrogen content.•Changes in the fuel naphthalene content had a significant impact on particle number emission.
