Hybrid Plasmonic Nano-Antenna Design and Analysis for Optical Applications

摘要
We present a triangle oriented nano hybrid plasmonic in a footprint area of 1100 × 800 nm2 in this script. To accurately match the impedance, the proposed antenna would be inlay fed by hybrid plasmonic waveguide. The waveguide will be constructed using the SOI (Silicon-on-Insulator) method. And over frequency range of 160–240 THz, the operation of the antenna will be studied. The CST microwave studio suite is used to execute it. The suggested antenna has a bandwidth of 68.39 [171.36-240] THz, a maximum gain of 7 dB over the region, and a 94 percent efficiency. The presented antenna is a feasible implementation that can be made using conventional semiconductor fabrication techniques. It could be utilized for photo emission, optical detection, optically sensing, energy harvesting, and dispersion at the chip scale.
