Analysis of the influence of channel parameters of seven channel road Rzeppa constant velocity universal joint on the stress of steel ball

Abstract
The seven channel road Rzeppa constant velocity universal joint is a new type of transmission bearing with spherical connection. According to the analysis of the stress model of the steel ball in the joint, it can be seen that the different structure of the channel will have an impact on its movement process. Besides the radius of the steel ball, the parameter determining the channel shape is the change of eccentricity. Different combinations of long and short axes can be obtained by choosing different eccentricity for elliptical channel. By setting different combinations of long and short half axes, combined with computer three-dimensional modeling, Adams is imported to analyze the peripheral force and normal force on the steel ball. The results show that the change of eccentricity can effectively affect the peripheral force and normal force on the steel ball.
