Oral Hormone replacement treatment and uterine volume in Korean adolescent with Turner syndrome: retrospective case-control study.

Background: For girls diagnosed Turner syndrome (TS) before puberty, pubertal induction by hormone replacement treatment (HRT) is a generalized treatment of choice. A few studies conducted in TS patients reported that uterine volume (UV) has been significantly smaller in pubertal induction group with HRT. In current study, we aimed to investigate UV among pubertal induction (PI) versus natural menarche (NM) group in TS, and normal control group. In detail, we ought to elucidate the factors that affect uterine development during HRT.
