摘要
•The complete mitochondrial genome of Sabethes bipartipes, Sabethes cyaneus, Sabethes tarsopus, and Sabethes quasicyaneus is reported for the first time.•The mitogenomes of investigated Sabethes species had a mean length of 14,920 bp, mean AT content of 79.2%, negative AT and GC skews, and all composed of 37 functional subunits (13 PCGs, 22 tRNA, and 2 rRNA).•Phylogenies reconstructed based on the concatenated sequences of all 13 PCGs produced topologies with strong internal anchoring values, strongly supporting the monophyletic relationship between the Sabethes subgenres.
