摘要

•Solubility of kojic acid in seven pure solvents and two binary solvents were measured.•Eight different models were used to correlate the solubility data.•Mixing thermodynamic properties of kojic acid in all studied solvents were calculated.•Solubility parameter, KAT-LSER and COSMO-RS models were applied to explain experimental phenomenon.
