Abstract
•We prepared a form-stable phase change material supported by the nanoarray-modified nickel foam.•The nanoarrays on the nickel foam look like flowers and can act as the nucleating agent of PEG for heterogeneous nucleation.•The super cooling degree of the form-stable phase change material decreases by 35.3% compared with pure PEG.
