Needle-like NiSχ@MnCoOχ core–shell nanoarrays with high charge storage performance for application in hybrid supercapacitors

摘要
•A promising material for supercapacitors was obtained by integrating NiSχ nanoflakes into MnCoOχ needle-like arrays.•The hierarchical core–shell nanoarrays enable a fast ion diffusion and rapid electron transfer.•NiSχ@MnCoOχ shows a high capacity of 1358 C g−1, which is twice that of MnCoOχ/NF (661 C g−1).•The assembled HSCs device delivers high energy density of 64.61 Wh kg−1.•It greatly releases the energy storage potential of the Co–Mn oxides and Ni sulfides.
