Development of data-driven models for estimating the probability of high-concentration occurrence of naturally occurring radioactive materials in groundwater

•Data-driven estimation models for the high risk of NORMs in groundwater were developed.•In-situ groundwater monitoring data were applied for improving the model efficiency.•Statistical analyses were conducted for estimation accuracy improvement of the models.
