摘要
MANAGE-HF was a prospective, multicenter, observational study that enrolled 200 patients implanted with a HeartLogic enabled cardiac resynchronization therapy-defibrillator or and implantable cardioverter defibrillator. There were an average of 1.76 HeartLogic alert cases per patient-year. Heart failure medications were augmented relative to prealert dose during 74% of the alert cases. Early decongestive treatment was associated with more rapid recovery of the HeartLogic index, compared with patients with no decongestive therapy following an alert. The observed serious adverse events, associated with treatments in response to alerts, were very low and consistent with the anticipated risks and benefits of early recognition and treatment of heart failure decompensation. N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide levels decreased from median of 1316 pg/mL at baseline to 743 pg/mL at 12 months (P < .001).Image, graphical abstract
