摘要

•Hypnopompic hallucinations and sleep paralysis was more commonly encountered in NT1.•Sleep latency was shorter, SOREMPs were more prevalent in NT1 on PSG and MSLT.•An index of >2% on chin-EMG recordings had high sensitivity and specificity for RSWA.•An increase in the density REMs during REM sleep may be a good indicator for RSWA.•REMs index of >20% had moderate sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of RSWA.
